EXTENSION TOUR ITINERARY: Experience a Mekong River cruise aboard a luxurious Pandaw vessel. Continue onwards to discover the famed UNESCO World Heritage Site of Angkor Wat. Commonly known as the world’s largest religious monument, we will explore the temple complex. Explore the sights of Siem Reap before visiting the ascending capital city of Phnom Penh.

Day 1



Depart Canada for Taipei flying with EVA Air.

Day 2


Flight to Singapore

Board your connecting flight to Singapore. Upon arrival in Singapore, you will check into your hotel. 

Day 3


Singapore city tour

Welcome to Singapore, an eclectic and bustling city-state. Visit Merlion Park to catch a glimpse of the Merlion, a mythical embodiment of Singapore and it’s storied rise to prominence. Following the park, we will explore the National Orchid Garden, the Thian Hock Keng Temple & Little India. Uncover the history of Singapore with a visit to Images of Singapore, before finishing off the day with a trip to the colourful Aquarium, with its assortment of over 800 species of marine life. 

Day 4


Visit Singapore Zoo

Enjoy a visit to the Singapore Zoo, where we will pay a visit to the many animals who reside here. This world renowned zoo features Giraffes, Elephants, Orangutans and many other species native to the region.

Day 5


Visit Jurong Bird Park

Discover the Jurong Bird Park – a lush park spanning over 20 hectares of Singaporean greenery. We’ll take a tram to visit the African Waterfall Aviary and finish the day by witnessing the grace and agility of the High Flyers Show.

Day 6


Fly to Hanoi
Hanoi city tour

Enjoy a free day and explore the city. Fly to Hanoi in the evening.

Day 7


City tour of Hanoi

Welcome to Vietnam. Explore the city by foot, as we visit Hoan Kiem Lake and the Ngoc Son Temple. Glide through the French Quarter by rickshaw, before attending a water puppet show.

Day 8


Historical & shopping tour of Hanoi

Get ready for a full day traversing Hanoi. Explore the modern history of the Vietnam War at the Army & Air Force Museum before visiting the infamous Ho Lao Prison complex. Cool off with a visit to the breezy West Lake and continue on to the Quan Thanh and Tran Quoc Pagoda. Shop like a local at Hanoi’s largest indoor market, Dong Xuan Market.

Day 9

Halong Bay

Halong Bay cruise

Cruise Halong Bay for a stunning day trip. Rugged limestone cliffs and mysterious caves await before a delicious lunch on board.

Day 10

Hoi An

Fly to Hue & River cruise
Overland to Hoi An

Travel onwards to the spiritual capital of Hue and enjoy a river cruise to the Imperial Citadel. Arrive in Hoi An and enjoy a free evening.

Day 11

Hoi An

Hoi An ancient city tour

Once in Hoi An, you will enjoy a guided morning tour. This graceful colonial outpost features beautiful architecture and a charming riverside setting. Visit the fabled Japanese Covered Bridge as well as the remarkably preserved ancient house of Phung Hung.

Day 12

Ho Chi Minh

Fly to Ho Chi Minh City

Onwards to pulsating Ho Chi Minh City, still commonly known among locals as Saigon. With the French colonial influence looming large over the city, well manicured boulevards and vibrant parks abound. Visit several historic districts, finishing with the stunning Notre Dame Cathedral. Outside of the city, dig into the history of Vietnam by visiting a stretch of the 250KM of underground tunnels which proved integral to Vietnamese war efforts against the Americans.

Day 13

Ho Chi Minh

Free day OR optional Mekong River boat cruise

Tour the fabled Mekong Delta while tasting some of the locally made products from the region. Coconut candy, local honey and a sampling of local fruit will be available to sample.

Day 14


Arrive in Canada

Fly to Canada via Taipei. Arrive home after an excellent tour of Southeast Asia.

Fly to Siem Reap

Welcome to Cambodia. Discover the famed UNESCO World Heritage Site of Angkor Wat. Commonly known as the world’s largest religious monument, we will explore the temple complex before gazing on the sunset from the top of Bakheng Hill. 

Day 2

Siem Reap

Explore Angkor Archaeological Complex

Continue tour of Angkor Wat and Siem Reap. Today you will see surrounding satellite temples of Banteay Srei, Ankor Thom and Bayon within the Archaeological Complex. In the evening, enjoy a Cambodian cultural show and feast on a range of Cambodian delicacies.  

Day 3


Fly to Bangkok & Explore the city by boat

Once known as the “Venice of the East”, explore this humming capital city through the ancient canal system. Stop along the Chao Praya to visit the majestic Wat Arun, before retiring back to your hotel.

Day 4


Royal Palace and Thai dance

Thailand is a constitutional monarchy with a citizenry that shows a deep devotion to the royal family. Tour the Royal Palace before viewing the astounding Reclining Buddha at Wat Po. Enjoy an evening of Thai dance at the Sampran Riverside. 

Day 5


Explore Ayuttaya

Ayuttaya is the second capital city of Thailand and was established in 1350. Enjoy a day trip to the former power centre of the Kingdom of Thailand.

Day 6


Arrive in Canada

Fly home to Canada. Arrive back in Canada after a wonderful tour through South America.
