KNOW THE WORLD Tour Organizers Inc. and PLUS TRAVEL GROUP are not responsible or liable for damage, loss or theft of baggage or personal belongings, nor for personal injury, accidents or illness while on tour.


For your protection, you should have medical and baggage insurance coverage.  Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended and should be taken out when you reserve.  Please ask for a quote on your insurance needs.

Cancellation Notice must be sent in writing to KNOW THE WORLD Tour Organizers Inc.

Full refund, less a service charge of $800 per person will be made on cancellation 90 days or more before departure.  


On written cancellations received 89 days prior or less, the following charges apply:

• 89 to 60 days prior to departure: 25% of tour cost
• 59 to 30 days prior to departure: 50% of tour cost

No refund can be made on cancellations received within 29 days of or after departure or on a no show.


If the Tour is cancelled, full refunds are guaranteed and will be full settlement to and by passengers booked.


itinerary & program


Every effort will be made to deliver itinerary and program as outlined in the tour brochure however, KNOW THE WORLD Tour Organizers Inc. and PLUS TRAVEL GROUP reserve the right to cancel the tour if not enough participants sign up and also to make changes to itinerary or program due to unforeseen circumstances or the unavailability of hotels, carriers, sites or personnel.  If a hotel must be changed, we will use a hotel of equal quality to the original or refund any difference if this is not possible. Ontario law requires that funds paid to PLUS TRAVEL GROUP be held in trust until travel suppliers are paid.


The following legal statements simply mean that the tour operators and travel agents cannot be held responsible for people, acts or events they do not or cannot control.

• FORCE MAJEURE: PLUS TRAVEL GROUP shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays or loss of enjoyment, of any kind whatsoever, resulting from events beyond our or a supplier’s reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, lockouts, labour disputes or disruptions, wars, blockades, insurrections, riots, earthquakes, weather conditions, floods or acts or restraints imposed by government authorities.
• OPERATOR’S RESPONSIBILITIES: PLUS TRAVEL GROUP (Ont. Reg. # 4372512) and/or its agents, act only as agents for various companies over the lines of which tickets are available and these tours operate and assume no responsibility nor liability in connection with the service of any train, vessel, carriage, aircraft, motor or other conveyances which may be used, either wholly or in part, in the performance of its duty to the passenger; neither will it be responsible for any act, error, or omission, or any injury, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned by reason of any defect in any vehicle or through the neglect or default of any company or person which engaged in conveying the passenger; or for any hotel proprietor, or hotel service, or for any other  person engaged in carrying out the purpose for which tickets or coupons are issued. In the event that it becomes necessary or advisable for the comfort or well being of passengers, or for any reason whatsoever, to alter itinerary or arrangements, such alterations may be made without penalty to the operators. Additional expenses, if any, shall be borne by the passengers, conversely, refund will be made to passengers if any saving is effected thereby. The Airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not on board their planes or conveyance. The passage contract in use by the Airlines concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the Airlines and the purchaser of these Tours and/or the passenger.  The right is reserved to withdraw any or all tours should conditions warrant, also to decline, to accept or retain any passenger as members of the Tours. PLUS TRAVEL GROUP or agent assumes no responsibility for lost tickets or coupons.
